Therefore, if we are indeed under medication for an ailment, the more that we have to look after ourselves. This means; eating right and in moderation, inject a regimen of exercise in our daily living, and avoiding vices such as smoking and alcohol intake. As a matter of fact, Zoloft and alcohol does not co-exist since this could lead to further risk of complication. Living a healthy lifestyle could very well keep side effects such as gaining weight when we are taking Zoloft. Zoloft and weight gain no more with this kind of living course of therapy.
  2. Zoloft and weight gain will be properly addressed if there is an understanding of the treatment procedure. If you totally understand your ailment, the kind of drug you are taking and the do’s and don’ts that comes with it, gaining weight when taking Zoloft will not be a dilemma you have to face anymore.
  3. Most importantly, open the communication line between you and your doctor. Do not just visit them when things get out of hand, rather, communicate with them on a regular basis. They have the best understanding on your situation and keeping them aware of the goings on of your treatment process will greatly benefit you. Although this does not mean you will now start stalking your physician. Just let them know on your progress or regress, whatever the case may be, before things will be too late for you.
